Cancellation/Refund Policy
Classes with advance payment
If you cancel prior to 2 weeks in advance of the course start date and your place is able to be sold to someone else, you may receive a full refund. Unsold places and cancellations within 2 weeks of the course, as well as non-attendance on the day or any days within the course, are completely non-refundable. In certain circumstances, you may be able to transfer the payment to an alternative future workshop or course.
Cancellations by us
In the event of the cancellation of an event by Mahashakti Yoga, you will receive a full refund of the course fee. If an event is moved from its advertised venue and / or the date is changed, your payment will remain valid if you wish to attend the rescheduled event. If not, we will refund the full payment by cheque.
Class Tickets
Six Week Class tickets offer a discounted block-booking rate for classes and as such are non-refundable. They are valid for ten weeks from the date of purchase so you do not need to attend on consecutive weeks to take advantage of the discount. If you think you may miss classes and not get the full benefit of the six week allocation, then we would recommend paying the drop-in rate per class. Short extensions to ticket expiry dates may be granted only in exceptional circumstances.
Private lesson or Therapy bookings
You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the appointment. Cancellation within 48 hours as well as non-attendance on the day are chargeable at the full rate or (if paid in advance) are completely non-refundable. All deposits are non-returnable. In certain circumstances, you may be able to transfer the payment to an alternative future date.
Block bookings for private lessons offer a discounted rate for paying in advance and as such are non-refundable. Once dates have been agreed for each lesson within the block, the 48 hour cancellation policy applies to each lesson. Lessons within the block cancelled by us will be offered on a suitable alternative date.
